9. Coronavirus Update; Wednesday 1st April

Good Morning,

Thank you for your support for the national safety in ensuring that your children remain at home during this period of lock down for the country.

I hope that you have been able to encourage your children to access the wide range of activities which are available on the school website (https://www.pprseducation.co.uk/page/?title=On%2Dline+Curriculum+Support&pid=66) or in the work packs which some of you will have had delivered, to provide them with something engaging and enjoyable to do while at home and to continue with their education. Along with the work on our own website there are lots of other activities available on-line and you may have seen on the news that these English lessons are available via facebook every day; https://www.facebook.com/1531623210464775/posts/2274032942890461?d=n&sfns=mo

For those of you who receive free school meals, the voucher system has been implemented and the initial complications due to the volume of people accessing this are starting to reduce. If you have not received any information regarding this and have not yet been requested to send through your choice of supermarket please let your child's Head of Centre know to allow us to work on this for you. It is iof course vital that we have your correct email address and/or mobile telephone number for this process to work for you, so if you change these could you please let us know as soon as possible.

I have received this information today which may be of use for some of our families where English is not their first language;

Thank you again for your continued support through this challenging time.

S Howard
