Day 6-15

  • Contact is made with the family to ensure that the student has access to a laptop, and the internet, if they do not, we provide one.
  • The co-ordinator completes a home visit and ensures the leaner can login into our system.
  • Family know that they can contact our Day 6 co-ordinator for any support required during this time.
  • Learner is registered onto Edclass. This provision provides high quality, face-to-face online tutoring.
  • GL assessments are registered for the student; this ensures that learning is appropriate and at the right level.
  • Student is invited into our academy to complete the assessments and once completed the data is shared and appropriate work put into place.
  • Student continues to attend our academy until the permanent exclusion has been heard by the governors.
  • The co-ordinator ensures that as much information as possible is collected about the learner so, if the Permanent Exclusion is upheld, we are able to make an informed decision as to appropriate placement.
